About Me
Christopher "Killfile" Thomas is a web developer residing in Virginia's New River Valley with his wife and two cats, Nikitty Khrushchev and Fidel Catstro. He holds two Bachelor's degrees: one in History from the University of Virginia and one in Computer Science from Radford University.
Since History won't pay the bills, Chris works as a web developer and writes political Op-Ed pieces for MSNBC.com's social news property Newsvine. In this capacity he has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, interviewed by the BBC, appeared on MSNBC, participated in pannel discussions with the Software Industry Association of America, and covered the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado.
Professionally, Chris has developed applications for a verity of clients including the United States' Government, Anthem, the Virginia Department of Transportation, and the Virginia Hospital and Healthcare Association. Chris is available for custom development projects in several languages and architectures.
